I. torsion test principle of coaxial communication cable
This test is used to detect the integrity of the wire surface, inner metal, copper layer and the bonding between the inner metal.
2. Test equipment:
There are two clamps on the track, one of which cannot be rotated and the other which can be twisted in some way to produce a torque on the wire sample. The non-rotating chuck should be able to be adjusted along the track so that the length of the sample between the clamps is 100 times the diameter of the sample. Apply a slight tension on the non-rotating clamp head to keep the twisted wire flat at a torsion speed of about 15 revolutions per minute.
Iii. Sample preparation:
The length of the sample between the clamps is 100 times the diameter of the sample and should be straight.

After 20 torsion tests, check the integrity of the surface and inner metal to continue torsion the wire until it breaks, and then check the separation of the copper layer and inner metal end of the section.
